Summer Registration FAQ

Important Notice: If you did not receive an email confirming your child's Summer Camp registration, you will need to re-register your child. We apologize for the inconvenience. The link to register for Summer Sports Camps can be found the bottom of this page.


What is the registration system?
We use an online registration system to provide a better customer experience and increased efficiency for the district. RegistrationWerks provides the registration system that feeds into the familiar Oak Park & River Forest Web Store powered by RevTrak, Inc.

How do I register my student for a Class?
Follow the link at the bottom of this Instruction page to access the registration list. Select your program/course to see available class dates. When you add a class to the cart, you will need to sign into the Web Store, if you have no already. If you have not shopped the Web Store previously, you must create an account to track your payments. After login, select or add a participant (student) to your family account.

How do I establish a registration account?
Only one parent should establish a RegWerks/Web Store account and add all family members to the same account. This ensures any troubleshooting is limited to one account, as well as tracks all payments under one username. You must establish the cardholder (parent) – if you have already made a payment on the Oak Park & River Forest Web Store, you already registered in the RegWerks system with the same email and password that you use to log into RevTrak (Web Store). If you are new to the OPRFHS We Store, you will need to create an account. You are welcome to use the same email/password combination. Next, you will need to establish the participant (student) – when you sign in, click Add Participant to identify a family member for future classes. This participant's name will appear as an option in future payments.

How do I register for multiple classes and sessions?
Multiple Classes for Same Student: Select the first class, participant, and answer the questions. At the bottom of the registration page, click Continue to Shop to register for another class. Multiple Classes for Different Students: Select a class, select or add the next student, and answer the questions. At the bottom of the registration page, click Continue to Shop to register for another class. Proceed to checkout when you have registered for all students and all classes. Warning: If you accidentally begin the checkout process instead of returning to the class list page, do not use the web browser's back arrow. You may continue through checkout for this group of registrations, then return to register students for other classes, or you may abandon the cart (clear the cart) and start over. You will need to wait two hours before registering the same student for the same class.

I received a message that states "A registration already exists for the selected class and participant", but I have not paid yet. What happened?
Wait two hours and re-register your participant. The registration system immediately reserves your spot when you complete the registration page. There is a hold period with all systems to be sure communication between the payment system and the registration system have time to clear; our hold period is two hours. If you can't/don't make the payment as a seamless transaction with the registration, your registration will be declined. We guard against allowing the same participant to register for the exact same class. It's an inconvenience for you, but necessary as a safeguard for an unattended registration.

Why do I have to answer the same questions for each class?
Each teacher receives a listing of the students in the class, with the answers to these important questions. We have kept the questions to the bare minimum the teacher needs to adequately protect and teach your child. We need each question (for each student) to create the teacher's information. How do I pay for a friend to take the class?
The person making the payment may establish the registration account, then add a participant. The participant's address and telephone are required. You will receive the registration confirmation email to forward to your friend.

I don't have/want to use a card for payment. How do I register?
Walk-in registration begins May 31st and runs through June 10th on a space available basis. Register in person at the Oak Park & River Forest office between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
